Looking for some real life advice from a WAG who has been there, done that? Lisa Lumley has been married to her T3 injured husband Dan for 41 years. They have three adult children, who all work in the medical field. Prompted by her passion as Dan’s primary caregiver after his motorcycle accident, Lisa is completing a PhD in Nursing and is planning to conduct a qualitative research study exploring the lived experience of caregivers who care for their dependent partners after SCI. Lisa has valuable advice for any WAG looking for hope, and vows to use her research to provide more awareness for caregivers of the future.
