Get to know Heidi Estrada, an “OG” WAG of SCI who has been there, done that, and has a LOT of wisdom to share with other women and couples! Heidi is currently one of the amazing Group Moderators for the WAGS of SCI Private Group, and also is the Community Involvement Coordinator for the Boston Chapter of the United Spinal Association! She is also a mother, a wife of a paraplegic, baker and cook extraordinaire, and mentor to SO many people.
We discuss the keys to her successful marriage, and how her and her husband made it through their early years without the support we all enjoy online today! Heidi also openly discusses her IFV journey to conceiving her now 11 year old daughter.
Heidi runs various support groups including an all-female virtual “After Dark” sex talk group via United Spinal where nothing is off limits or off the table for discussion! Heidi is fearless and humble, and has devoted her life to helping others and spreading positivity and support to those who are in need. We are so grateful to her for her knowledge and life experience, and her non judgemental attitude.
