This episode is all about the hats we wear as WAGS, inspired by Brooke and Elena’s own lives and recent personal events that highlight the need for WAGS to be able to do handy and cleaning work around the home themselves without help. The only issue with this, is over time the stress builds, and not “offloading” tasks to others outside of the home can create chaos and overwhelm. The hosts discuss how they’re both planning on hiring professional cleaners to come in monthly into their homes, in order to tackle some of the cleaning overwhelm happening in their houses that has built over time. Brooke and Elena then get into a discussion about some of the mundane household tasks that the women in this community have to do (in addition to providing care to their partners), and how they handle these tasks in order to prevent their own burnout. They then share some interesting stories from other WAGS in the community about their tips and tricks for balancing home-work and caregiving.
