WAGS of SCI: The Podcast - Ep. 43 - What Happens When You Don't Invest In Your Own Self Care?
/

Stress. It’s well known that it is the number one thing at the root of most illnesses, yet, we ALL are so used to living in stress mode for most of our days. Especially in our community of caregivers and partners to someone with a Spinal Cord Injury, life can seem chaotic a lot of the time. What does that mean for your own health and emotional wellbeing?

With the WAGS of SCI Self Care Walk/Run coming up in TWO days, Elena and Brooke discuss stress and the process it can take to wreak havoc on your body and mind if you do not invest time in your OWN self care. Making time for yourself when you dont have the time can be challenging, but it is absolutely necessary.

Hear some stories from the women about their own journeys with self care post -covid, and how something so simple as just walking every day can change the course of your journey for the better.
