WAGS of SCI: The Podcast - Ep. 38 - The Covid Vaccine And Making Informed Choices
/

This past year has been hard on all of us, especially the SCI and caregiver community. With Covid rampant all over the world, there is an underlying fear of the unknown that haunts us all. With the onset of early vaccinations for Covid with new RNA technology, and all the new information, mis-information, and TOO MUCH information available online.. how can you yourself make an informed decision about this vaccine? How can you learn to be confident in your own choices without being swayed to what other people think is best for you? Can you remain neutral while still advocating for yourself?

Like it or not, the new vaccine is bringing even more division to our community as well as our friends and family groups than Covid has already. How can we learn to respect others choices and perspectives and lead by example for our own benefit?

Learn about our personal experiences with vaccinations, why we are choosing not to repost or share vaccination information on our platforms out of respect for the various opinions in our community. We discuss what the RNA vaccine actually does, and how to educate yourself so you can do your own research and learn what YOUR informed choice will be.
