"Hey ya’ll!! My name is Leah Evans. I am from Hattiesburg,Mississippi but have recently moved to a small town (Poplarville, MS) where I met my Fiancé, Michael Templeton. I never planned on falling in love, but after my first phone conversation with Michael (6 hours) I knew I wanted to spend my life with him. Michael and I met through our moms who have been friends for most of our lives. I finally met Michael 6 years post injury but have been following his story through my mom since the week he was injured in April 2010. We dated for exactly 1 year before Michael asked me to be his wife. We’ve been together 2 years now and were married on November 10th. Michael is by far my greatest blessing. Each day is a new adventure trying to figure out how to live our lives like normal couples, but we always find a way to make things work. I am SO blessed to have found this group of women that can relate to our situation and have already blessed our lives with so much advice! Proud to be part of the WAGS of SCI family!!
